Academic Team - The Academic Team consists of four students at a time who compete against other schools in a "quiz bowl" format. Students are asked a variety of questions and have to "buzz" in to give the correct answer. If an incorrect answer is given, the opposing team has a chance to "steal" the question.

Cooking Club - The Aiken Cooking Club is comprised of both Aiken College & Career and Aiken University students. We meet every Monday in the cafeteria after school to share recipes and to prepare the recipe picked for that day.
- The objective of the cooking club is to teach students how to prepare meals that are healthy and made from scratch.
- Activities we have accomplished so far are serving and preparing the meals for the Aiken athletic banquets and attending the Voices of the Future Conference.
- In the future we are planning to have a cook-off where the cooking club divides into groups who prepare specialties for other students and staff to try and pick the winner. Also, we are planning to visit local restaurants and culinary schools, and to attend the Great American Clean-up.

| Ladies of Aiken - The Young Ladies of Aiken Club started as a way for our young ladies to be able to have a place where young ladies can laugh, talk, share their life experiences, give advice, take advice, give and take constructive criticism and have fun. No one is allowed to have attitudes; they must leave their attitudes at the door. We volunteer in the community, learn about etiquette. Just learn how to be young ladies and represent the school in a positive way. Participate in fundraisers. Everything is confidential. One of the new things we are going to start this year is, mentoring the 9 th graders. We elect officers. We will also be doing some activities with Llanfair Retirement.
Young ladies must have good grades, attendance, respectful, honest and never loud in the hallway. You must represent the school at all times in a positive way.
